Passionate supporters and members of branches of the military can now make their Facebook layouts show it with pride! The military community on Facebook has long been on of the most active. Although it hasn’t been without controversy. As recently as 2009, there was talk of banning Facebook and Twitter from usage by active duty military members.
Luckily, Facebook is still used to stay in many ways by military members and their families. What better say to stay in touch with a loved one overseas than Facebook messages and Skype calls? It’s the new standard and it’s making it a lot easier to connect.
